Big Beat at the Heart of the city

There are some fantastic community groups and charities working in our city, often with little government support and now, more than ever, helping people who need it, in very difficult circumstances.

We want to shine a spotlight on those organisations, give them the recognition they deserve and help if we can.

At the moment, we are focussing on The Bevy, a community pub in Bevendean; a fantastic local hub, which not only provides a decent beer & tasty grub, but also a meeting point for seniors & lots of other community groups. 

Like the rest of us, the cost of living & energy crisis had hit them hard & they may have to close, which would be very sad.
